Composition per 800.0mL:

Casein hydrolysate..............................................2.0g

K2HPO4...............................................................1.4g

K2SO4..................................................................1.0g

Yeast extract........................................................1.0g

KH2PO4...............................................................0.6g

MgSO4 ................................................................0.5g

Glycerol ........................................................ 20.0mL

Preparation of Medium: Add components to

distilled/deionized water and bring volume to

800.0mL. Mix thoroughly. Distribute into tubes or

flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure–

121°C.

Use: For the cultivation and maintenance of Entero

bacter species and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
