Composition per liter:

Rhamnose....................................................................................10.0g
Yeast extract..................................................................................3.0g
K 2 HPO 4 .........................................................................................2.9g
KH 2 PO 4 .........................................................................................2.1g
NH 4 ·Cl ..........................................................................................2.0g
MgSO 4 ·7H 2 O................................................................................0.4g
NaCl.........................................................................................30.0mg
CaCl 2 ..........................................................................................3.0mg
FeSO 4 ·7H 2 O...............................................................................1.0mg
pH 7.0 ± 0.2 at 25°C
Preparation of Medium: Add components to distilled/deionized
water and bring volume to 1.0L. Mix thoroughly. Distribute into tubes
or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure–121°C.
Use: For the cultivation of Rhodococcus chlorophenolicus.
