Composition per liter:

Casamino acids.............................................................................5.0g
Glucose .........................................................................................2.0g
KH 2 PO 4 .......................................................................................0.86g
Sodium citrate...............................................................................0.6g
K 2 HPO 4 .......................................................................................0.55g
MgCl 2 ·6H 2 O................................................................................0.43g
CaCl 2 .............................................................................................0.1g
MnCl 2 ·4H 2 O..............................................................................0.016g
ZnCl 2 ..........................................................................................7.0mg
FeCl 3 ..........................................................................................3.0mg
pH 6.5 ± 0.2 at 25°C
Preparation of Medium: Add components to distilled/deionized
water and bring volume to 1.0L. Mix thoroughly. Distribute into tubes
or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure–121°C.
Use:  For the cultivation and maintenance of Bacillus thuringiensis.
