(NH 4 ) 2 SO 4 ....................................................................................2.0g
MgSO 4 ·7H 2 O................................................................................0.1g
L- Histidine...................................................................................0.05g
L- Leucine ....................................................................................0.05g
Uracil ..........................................................................................0.03g
Ca(NO 3 ) 2 ·4H 2 O .........................................................................5.0mg
FeSO 4 ·7H 2 O...............................................................................5.0mg
ZnSO 4 ·7H 2 O..............................................................................5.0mg
pH 7.0 ± 0.2 at 25°C
Preparation of Medium: Add components to distilled/deionized
water and bring volume to 1.0L. Mix thoroughly. Distribute into tubes
or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure–121°C.
Use:  For the cultivation and maintenance of Escherichia coli.
