Preparation of Medium: Add components to

distilled/deionized water and bring volume to 1.0L.

Mix thoroughly. Filter sterilize.

Use: For the growth of Y-1 cell cultures used in the

mouse adrenal assay for heat-labile toxin of entero

toxigenic Escherichia coli and Vibrio species.
