CaCl 2 ·2H 2 O ................................................................................0.02g
ZnSO 4 ·7H 2 O..............................................................................0.1mg
CuSO 4 ·5H 2 O............................................................................0.02mg
CoCl 2 ·6H 2 O................................................................................2.0μg
MnCl 2 ·4H 2 O ...............................................................................2.0μg
Na 2 MoO 4 ·2H 2 O..........................................................................1.0μg
Seawater........................................................................................1.0L
Preparation of Medium: Combine components. Mix thoroughly.
Distribute into tubes or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure–
121°C.
Use: For the isolation, cultivation, and enrichment of marine ammo-
nia-oxidizing bacteria.
