Composition per liter:
K 2 HPO 4 .......................................................................................7.32g
Ammonium tartrate.......................................................................4.6g
KH 2 PO 4 .......................................................................................1.09g
MgSO 4 ·7H 2 O..............................................................................0.04g
FeSO 4 ·7H 2 O................................................................................0.04g
CaCl 2 ·2H 2 O ..............................................................................0.014g
MgSO 4 ·7H 2 O............................................................................0.002g
pH 7.5 ± 0.2 at 25°C
Preparation of Medium:  Add components to distilled/deionized
water and bring volume to 1.0L. Mix well and warm gently until dis-
solved. Distribute into test tubes or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 15
psi pressure–121°C.
Use: For the cultivation and maintenance of Achromobacter species
and Alcaligenes species.
