Composition per liter:

Pancreatic digest of casein................................12.5g

K2HPO4...............................................................5.0g

NaCl....................................................................5.0g

Sodium citrate.....................................................5.0g

Yeast extract........................................................5.0g

Mannose..............................................................2.0g

MgSO4·7H2O......................................................0.8g

Polysorbate 80...................................................0.75g

FeSO4 ................................................................0.04g

pH 7.0 ± 0.22 at 25°C

Diagnostic Systems.

Preparation of Medium: Add components to

distilled/deionized water and bring volume to 1.0L.

Mix thoroughly. Distribute into tubes or flasks. Auto

clave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure–121°C.

Use: For the detection of Salmonella in dried foods

and feeds.
